Combate Global smash TV ratings beating ONE & PFL

Combate Global, formerly Combate Americas, continues its successful run on air yet again beating ONE Championship and PFL in the Nielsen MMA TV ratings, coming second only to the UFC. The Nielsen TV Ratings show that PFL and ONE Championship’s viewer ratings combined were still not enough to knock the Hispanic MMA promotion from the second spot.

Campbell McLaren, CEO of Combate Global and co-creator of the UFC, posted the ratings to his Twitter on Wednesday and the numbers speak for themselves. The Nielsen TV graphic posted shows Combate pulling an impressive 380,000 viewers for their latest show, an all female MMA event, which made history as the highest viewed women’s MMA event in history. ONE Championship who signed a deal with TNT pulled in 219,000 viewers and PFL managed just 136,000.

Campbell McLaren also posted a similar graphic six days ago showing the average viewership for the promotion in 2021. Yet again, it shows Combate Global dominating the second place position outshining PFL, ONE and Bellator by considerable amounts! The numbers are even more impressive citing the depth of talent Combate has compared to the other promotions. Rather than spending big money on big names, they have nurtured regional talent and created a lions den where everybody is obsessed with being the best, and it is clearly working.

With the success of their most recent card, its exciting to see what is next for the promotion and how they continue this phenomenal growth. Out performing all other promotions other than the UFC is a monumental achievement and one fans from around the world will definitely start taking notice of.
