Fans are feeling the excitement as it has been revealed Nathias Frederick will defend his middleweight title against Matthew Bonner at Cage Warriors 123. The fight was announced as the promotion revealed it’s first bout and dates in which it would return for its highly successful ‘The Trilogy’ series.

Birmingham’s Nathias Frederick will be looking to continue his run of dominance when he faces Liverpool’s Matthew Bonner. Frederick has been on a wrecking ball of a run within the UK and European MMA scene winning nine in a row, eight of which by KO/TKO. Bonner is also riding a three fight winning streak himself and holds an impressive TKO victory in his last outing against former champion James Webb.

The pressure will also be mounting for Frederick’s, who has seemingly been declared the fans next favourite to sign for the UFC following his recent run of results. Bonner’s recent results have made fans notice just how much he’s improving every fight making this fight one not to be missed

Anticipation is high for The Trilogy, which made history as the first government-approved MMA show in the UK back when it launched at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Three events over three days had never been done prior to the launch of the series, showing the versatility and adaption needed to proceed and progress during the pandemic.
