Dominique Wooding puts division on notice with BRUTAL KO
By
VM StaffDominique Wooding gets that Violent Money and sends a message to rival bantamweights following a flawless victory in his promotional debut for Cage Warriors.
Wooding wore the famous yellow gloves for the first time Friday, June 25 as he faced touted prospect Cameron Hardy at CW 124. With both athletes boasting a reputation for finishing fights, fans anticipated an explosive battle but nothing would prepare them for just how explosive it was.
As the fight began the two fighter meet with a brief back and forth. ”Black Panther” wastes no time in making an impact, throwing and landing a thunderous head-kick on the minute mark of the round, sending Hardy crashing to the canvas. His opponent stands up and eats a knee in the clinch before the two separate, leading Wooding to throw a hook before landing flush with the left hand, yet again sending Hardy to the canvas.
Hardy once again gets back to his feet but Wooding is ready and puts his ”Black Panther” nickname to good use, pouncing towards his prey before landing a brutal right hook, levelling his opponent for the final time in the contest.
