Kevin Cordero, Spain’s top MMA prospect signs for Combate Global

VM StaffCombate Global today announced it has signed 21-year-old Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) sensation Kevin Cordero (11-2), to an exclusive, multi-fight promotional agreement.
Cordero of El Gran Canaria, Spain will make his Combate Global debut in a bantamweight (135 pounds) main event contest against American phenom Ricky Bandejas in Miami, Fla. on Friday, Sept 3.
“Kevin represents the best of Spain’s new generation of MMA stars. We are proud to welcome him to the Combate Global familia,” said Combate Global CEO Campbell McLaren.
Cordero, a tremendously gifted and well-rounded competitor, has earned 8 of his 11 professional career wins by way of (T)KO or submission.
Since jump starting his professional career at just 17 years old, Cordero has captured three different regional championships in two different weight divisions – bantamweight and flyweight (125 pounds).
Kevin Cordero will enter La Jaula, the Combate Global competition cage, in the midst of a five-fight win streak, with each of his last five victories having come by way of (T)KO or submission.’
