Leigh Mitchell vs Aaron Laleye headline CWSE 26, flyweight title on line

VMTV can announce Flyweight gold will be on the line October 9th as Leigh Mitchell (3-3) takes on Aaron Laleye (2-4) in the main event of CWSE 26, scheduled for October 9th.

BKK Fighters own Leigh Mitchell returns to CWA: South-East following a tough, two-fight run in Cage Warriors which saw Mitchell face Nathan Fletcher and Connor Hignett. With his aggressive style and adept grappling abilities, Mitchell has racked up a 100% finishing rate with all three of his victories coming by way of submission and will be looking to do more of the same come October 9th.

Speaking with Leigh Mitchell ahead of the card he said: ”I’m excited to compete again and show that I’m an improved version of myself every time I fight!”

Aaron Laleye looks to bounce back from a tough two-fight skid of his own, dropping a decision to Ollie Southern and being submitted by rising talent Elliott Hoye. Laleye hasn’t competed since 2019 but has been consistently grafting in the gym since so make no mistake any errors that might have happened in the past, certainly won’t be now.

Also featured on the card will be a women’s amateur atomweight title fight between Rhi Rhi Hudson (1-0) and Chloe Cook (3-0). Expect nothing but high octane, adrenaline fuelled action when two of the UK’s brightest prospects throw-down with each other. Both ladies boast a 100% finishing rate and have an unbeaten record a stake.

Someones ‘0’ has got to go, but will Rhi Rhi Hudson defend her title? Or will Chloe Cook become a dual-weight champion?
