“The Welsh GSP” Jack Shore moves to 15-0, calls for ranked opponent

UFC Vegas 36 was a big occasion for UK fans as we were treated to a rare, stacked prime time card and what a card it was! One fight that stuck out was “The Welsh GSP” Jack Shore’s dominating, one sided performance over Liudvik Sholinian. Which extended the Welshman’s professional record to a perfect 15-0 and 4-0 in the UFC.

Jack Shore faced uncertainty throughout this event booking after his original opponent Said Nurmagomedov was forced to withdraw for undisclosed reasons. Undefeated Georgian Zviad Lazishvili then stepped up to face Shore before he withdrew and Sholinian finally stepped up.

Despite the late changes to his opponent Shore put on yet another technical masterclass. From start to finish Sholinian struggled as Shore negated any hope for offense with his slick counters and footwork. Once again the Welshman showed off his wrestling skills and abilities, dominating the more decorated grappler through out the grappling exchanges and cruised to a unanimous decision victory.

During his post-fight interview, Shore called out for a ranked opponent between ranks 10-15 and with submission victories over Nohelin Hernandez and Aaron Phillips already on his record, alongside a decision win over Hunter Azure earlier this year, it’s hard to argue that Jack Shore doesn’t deserve a shot at a ranked opponent.
