Will Currie vs Jonathan Bosuku set for CW 128
By
VM StaffLondon based fighter, Will Currie, will take on Jonathan Bosuku at CW 128 inside London’s historic York Hall on 1st October. CW 128 is the second night of the upcoming Trilogy Series, and will see Currie compete in front of his home crowd for the first time since signing with Cage Warriors last year.
When asked about the latest addition to the CW 128 card, Cage Warriors president, Graham Boylan, said:
“This is a great fight for the fans between two very exciting middleweights. Will Currie has had two difficult fights against Christian Duncan, and though he lost that last fight, he showed true heart and warriors spirit and still looked impressive.
Jonathan Bosuku will be coming into a partisan crowd, London is Currie’s hometown, and we will have to see if he sinks or swims when under the Cage Warriors lights.”
Will Currie holds a 5-2 record, with four submission victories to his name. Ahead of his next fight, “Drago” told Cage Warriors:
“I’m delighted to have my fourth Cage warriors fight. I’ve been training really hard in Sweden and in the UK. I feel really fit and intend to show my skills in this fight, I want to make a statement and show my fans what I can do in the cage!”
Bosuku holds a record of 7-6-1 (1 NC), with four KO victories.
On the announcement of his Cage Warriors debut, the Frenchman sounded calm and composed, simply saying: “I’m coming to do my work as a fighter as usual!”
