UAE Warriors 24 puts two titles on the line in main & co-main

As part of another exciting double-header of events next week, two titles will be on the line at UAE Warriors 24.

Brazil’s Vinicius de Oliveira (16-2) defends his bantamweight title against EFC champion Sylvester Chipfumbu (7-2) in the main event while South Korea’s Do Gyeom Lee (8-3) defends his featherweight crown against Titan FC champ Ali AlQaisi (10-5).

Oliveira won the bantamweight title earlier this year with an impressive knockout victory over Canada’s Xavier Alaoui at UAE Warriors 18. The 25-year-old is now on a five-fight win-streak and has emerged as one of the top 135’ers outside the UFC today.

He takes on a tough challenger coming in the shape of South Africa-based Sylvester Chipfumbu. The 30-year-old won the EFC bantamweight title this past May and will be full on confidence coming into this bout.

After over a year out of action, the explosive Do Gyeom Lee is finally back and set to welcome the challenge from UFC veteran Ali AlQaisi. ‘The Royal Fighter’ is just two-months removed from his title win in Titan FC and will be aiming to dethrone Lee in this potentially thrilling co-main event.

UAE Warriors 24 will take place on Friday, October 29, at the Jiu Jitsu Arena in Abu Dhabi with UAE Warriors 23: Arabia 5 happening the night before in the same venue. These two events will lead into UFC 267 which takes place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Stay tuned for further card updates as they happen!
