PFL Europe | Why you should not miss Lewis McGrillen!

With devastating knockout power, the ability to walk the walk and talk the talk, Lewis McGrillen has become a household name on the regional circuit having seen himself go viral on numerous occasions.

But he hasn’t gone viral for no reason, since turning to the pro ranks McGrillen has become one of the most feared flyweights in 4oz gloves making short work of anyone who has gotten in his way.

His last bout ended in a 2nd round knockout in the sold out the Wythenshawe Forum, claiming his first pro title.

What makes Lewis McGrillen Different?

Slowly becoming a sensation across the country, McGrillen has sold out numerous shows and his knockouts have already earnt him the respect from competitors all over the country. Mixed with his brash personality and skillset, it was only a matter of time before his infamous walkout would grace the big stage.

And already in the PFL without fighting he’s making waves with UK MMA Pioneer and overall MMA legend Dan Hardy telling fans they have to keep an eye on the Wythenshawe-born fighter.

Not just a fighter with power!

Something that’s gone under the radar since turning pro is how high-level the Manchester Top Team prospect is in the grappling department.

Even on the feet, despite everyone knowing the left hand is there, the setups and how McGrillen has utilised this to do what he wants at will have made him very tricky to face.

During his amateur career, you can see just what level his grappling was at while he was still in his teens.

What to expect this Saturday at the Vertu Motor Arena

McGrillen takes on seasoned pro Salih Kulucan who has fought on most of the UKs top shows, but for me I see only one outcome and that’s Mcgrillen with his hand raised.

From the moment Hallelujah by Happy Monday plays, it’s the start of a new era for flyweights.
