KCC 4 | 5 must-watch fighters this weekend!
By
VM StaffKCC returns for another weekend of action so let VMTV show you all the talent after a phenomenal showing in KCC’s last show seeing Billy Adams catching gold and Jack Axyworthy providing another viral moment KOing Cory O’donovan
This weekend we see Charlie Boulton make his pro debut, Tom Harvey return to action and Jak Dunny (Jack Dunleavy) fighting Milosz Kruk for the European title.
Number 5 – Jack McLeod
In no particular order, Jack McLeod for me is a must-watch this weekend. Training out of Trident MMA, he will be looking to make a statement and go 2-1 after a previous 43-second submission on KCC 3. From previous fights, we already know that he has a huge amount of power and the ability to keep coming forward no matter what.
With a well-rounded game wherever this fight goes, we could very well see Mcleod show a new and improved version of himself, especially two fights into his amateur career.
Number 4 – Tom Harvey
Tom Harvey currently 2-1 has wins over Tyler Derbyshire and Eddie Burns. He recently fought on UKFC against Romeu Nobrega where he didn’t come away with the win but once again showed how talented he is for his age.
El Chapo has an ability to always look for a finish with his last win being in the first round via RNC. When he does fight he has a high-tempo style where he’s happy to give two shots and take one but with each performance, he has a much cleaner game and his striking has come on massively.
Harvey has the ability to steal the show come fight night never being in a dull fight and always looking to entertain the crowd.
Number 3 – Jak Dunny
Jak Dunny has accomplished great things so far in his amateur career winning the first gold medal at the 4 Nations tournament last year where he dominated his opponents and showed a wide range of submissions in his arsenal.
He was able to get a ko win over Charlie Balmer in what was a fight of the night contender showing a back-and-forth bout with big shots from both fighters.
Last year Dunny fought for his first title on FCC against now-pro MMA fighter Teddy Stringer who looks set to make his debut on Cage Warriors in the not-too-distant future where Dunny, unfortunately, didn’t come away with the win but showed his professionalism by getting straight back into the gym and ready to work.
He now faces Milosz Kruk a polish fighter who we also saw on FCC last year when he faced kurtis Campbell.
Number 2 – Morgan Hynes
After a debut win against Max Avinson Hall, Morgan Hynes has been working away to become an even better fighter and show his improvement since his last fight.
With 4 months passing since the last bout and knowing Hynes trains out of SBG he will of made big improvements and look like a different fighter once more, adding even more excitement to the fight.
Hynes was able to show some great work on the feet when he eventually took the fight to the ground where he was able to get the fight to the ground showing patience in his submission attempts when he got the armbar victory.
Number One – Charlie Boulton
At number one has to be Charlie Boulton who makes his pro debut this weekend after showing that he was one of the best amateur bantamweights that you could find in the country. He was originally set to face Damon Donald but after a pullout, he will now face Connor Lee.
With slick boxing, an ability to counter strike with ease and fight on either the front or back foot Bolton soon took the regional scene by storm where even without a social media platform he had many media outlets mentioning his name due to the level that he was performing at.
As he becomes a pro we can now expect to see 4oz gloves in use, elbows and knees to the head adding even more tools to Bolton’s arsenal that we haven’t been able to see yet.
Bonus features
With a card stacked with talent it is hard to keep it to just five fighters so be sure to also keep an eye on John Johnson, the brother of pro fighter Scott johnson who also fights this weekend and another returning face to KCC in Jordan Rutherford.
Marcus Allan has some beautiful striking with a wide array of kicks and ultimately looks to put on a show every time he competes. He has a slick style where he can move his head and evade shots while talking to his opponent. To have this composure so early in his career only promises for great things in the future.
