Stamp Fairtex More Than Open To Stand-And-Bang Versus Alyse Anderson
By
VM StaffONE Championship’s debut on U.S. soil is just days away, and Stamp Fairtex is relishing the opportunity to introduce herself to a new audience.
Thai scrapper enters enemy territory at the historic event, taking on American star Alyse Anderson on the main card of ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III this Saturday, 6th May, in Denver, Colorado.
Having made her name in ONE all around Asia, this will be Stamp’s inaugural outing in the United States, and the Fairtex fighter is grateful for the opportunity to broaden her horizons.
“This is my third time in the U.S. The first time was when I participated in a ONE press conference with Superbon. The second time I came for a seminar. So, this is the third time for me. This time is different because I’m coming to fight. And I’m feeling more excited than ever,” Stamp said.
“I’m really excited to be part of the fight card of ONE’s first event in USA. I’m really happy to be here. And it’s crazy that the tickets are already sold out. I am so glad that the American fans are interested to watch this event. And they will watch me fight.”

The three-sport superstar’s clash with Anderson appears to be a classic striker-versus-grappler affair.
That said, Stamp would welcome the chance to go strike-for-strike with Anderson. But as a former queen of the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing divisions, she is confident the American’s stand-up game won’t be up to the task.
Despite her confidence in that area, Stamp isn’t underestimating the challenge “Lil’ Savage” may offer.
Fuelled by a chance to take down one of the biggest names in the division in her own backyard, Stamp expects Anderson to be out to make a statement.
“I won’t be shy to going toe-to-toe with her either. If we can trade, we trade. I had a chance to watch only her two fights in ONE,” Stamp said.
“I think her striking is still not on par with mine. But I will not be careless. She might improve her striking to handle me.”
