After his dominant showing in the main event, Ilia Topuria has climbed the rankings from #9 to #5. Along with Merab Dvalishvili, Topuria is now one of two Georgians in the top five of their division. A title shot for ‘El Matador’ is looking likely, but he might also have to win one more fight against another top five opponent.

Topuria’s opponent, Josh Emmett, only dropped one spot after his loss. He now sits at #6 in the featherweight division. Further down the rankings, Sodiq Yusuff overtook Bryce Mitchell at the #11 position.

A gutsy performance against Amanda Ribas has vaulted TAM’s Maycee Barber into the top ten of the flyweight division. She has moved up three spots after her win, from #11 to #8. This pushed former title challenger Jennifer Maia down to #9.

Ribas dropped two positions after the loss, currently sitting at #11. That is also the spot that she holds in the official strawweight rankings, being one of the few fighters to be ranked in two divisions simultaneously.

Contender Erin Blanchfield also moved up one spot to #3, now being tied with future opponent Taila Santos.

185lbs – Brendan Allen continues to climb

With straight five wins, including four finishes, Brendan Allen is looking like a force to be reckoned with at 185lbs. His most recent win against Bruno Silva has pushed him up to #11 at middleweight, two spots above where he entered the bout.

This has pushed Kelvin Gastelum and Nassourdine Imavov down one spot each, to #12 and #13, respectively. In the top five, Paulo Costa is now tied with Dricus du Plessis at the #5 spot.
