Bellator release nine fighters as roster cuts made
By
VM StaffIt’s been revealed Bellator have made the decision to part ways with nine fighters which includes former UFC standout Roger Huerta and also a plethora of UK and Irish talent. Officials from the promotion informed MMA Junkie Monday evening of the news and it is still unknown whether each fighter has been released or Bellator have decided to not renew their contracts.
Amongst the UK and Irish athletes are the likes of Cal ‘Pacino’ Ellenor, Richie Smullen and more shockingly Frans Mlambo, who was recently ranked #9 in the Bantamweight division and had won three of his last four bouts with the promotion.
