Dominique Wooding set for Cage Warriors debut
By
VM StaffDominique Wooding is scheduled for his debut appearance at Cage Warriors 124 next month.
Following a three fight stint in the Bellator featherweight division, ‘The Black Panther’ will seek a return to form in his new promotional home. Wooding cuts a further 10 pounds for his Cage Warriors bout, meeting opponent Cameron Hardy in the bantamweight division.
Speaking on the fight, Wooding stated:
“Hardy’s game but he’s not on my level. My goal in Cage Warriors is to get in, make some statements, get that belt and head to the UFC.”
Sporting a 100% finishing rate, the Englishman will look to add to his ever-growing highlight reel. With fellow debutant Cameron Hardy only going the distance once in his seven fight career, the clash is expected to produce fireworks as the pair hope to start their Cage Warriors careers’ with a bang.
President Graham Boylan spoke on the fight, stating:
“This is what Cage Warriors is all about. Giving young, hungry and talented European fighters a chance to shine in competitive matchups on the big stage”.
Acknowledging the potential of Wooding, he adds:
“He is coming off the back of two close losses, but he is very dangerous as his six KO wins show. The fight is going to be so much fun for our fans to watch.”
Cage Warriors fans can watch the action live on UFC Fight Pass and via Cage Warriors’ global broadcast partners on June 25th. Which debutant will emerge victorious? Let us know your predictions in the comments below!
