Dominique Wooding names Liam Gittins and Nathan Fletcher as potential opponents

Dominique Wooding dropped jaws in-cage and out at CW 124, courtesy of a highlight reel finish against Cameron Hardy. With a point proven, “Black Panther” wastes no time in making his next steps with Cage Warriors clear by naming 135lb rivals Liam Gittins and Nathan Fletcher as potential opponents.

Speaking with Kyle Dimond on the latest episode of VMTV Vaults, Wooding spoke about his hopes for the future before made the next steps in his career very clear, naming Gittins and Fletcher as potential opponents.

“Cameron Hardy was the first one, that’s one. The next one I want, the one that makes sense to me is Liam Gittins. He fought my team-mate Emrah Sonmez on Thursday so I thought to myself; I’ll get through Cameron, afterwards I can have Liam next, I can get through him then after that get through to the title… Even Nathan Fletcher.”

Liam Gittins is the first target on ”Black Panthers” hit-list. Gittins recently fought Emrah Sonmez, a team-mate of Wooding, and defeated him in the second round of the contest via Rear Naked Choke. Nathan Fletcher was also present at the recent trilogy event as he submitted Brian Bouland in the first round of the contest.

Both of the aforementioned athletes are known for their ability to finish fights, just like Wooding. Recent results however don’t phase Dominique who at the age of 24 has gained experience competing in 20 fights across amateur and professional circuits. Valuable experience he’ll hope to draw on moving forward.

”I’m like one of the most experienced guys on the roster. I’m a young vet. I’m one of the most experienced guys on the roster. So obviously these guys like Liam, Nathan their kinda’ like coming up. I’ve been there and done that and I’m still young and I’m getting dangerous as the years are going.”

”Even throughout my losses, adversity gives you the strength to come back stronger.”

Whether we see Dominique vs Gittins, Fletcher or someone else entirely next is down to Cage Warriors. One thing is for certain, Dominique Wooding isn’t here to take part. He’s here to takeover.
