Tommy Fury & Daniel Dubois revealed for Paul-Woodley undercard

Following months of call outs, Tommy Fury will finally step into the same ring as Jake Paul. However, the pair will not be fighting each other as Fury will feature on the undercard of the upcoming Paul vs Woodley event. UK heavyweight Daniel Dubois is also set to feature on the card.

Announcing the news Monday, Showtime confirmed Tommy Fury would face Bellator veteran Anthony ”Pretty Boy” Taylor in a six round, 180lb catchweight bout. Fury, younger brother to Tyson, is undefeated in his professional boxing career with a 6-0 record. ”TNT” has been calling for a fight with Jake Paul for several months and with a big win over Taylor could definitely be finding himself in that position soon.

Anthony Taylor may be making his pro-boxing debut against Fury but his fight experience speaks for itself. Taylor holds a 7-5 record in pro-MMA and is currently riding a five fight winning streak which includes UFC and Irish prospect Dean Barry. His most recent victory was at Bellator 238 against Chris Avila.

Also joining Fury on the card will be Daniel Dubois who will face Joe Cusumano in a ten round heavyweight contest on the card.

Daniel Dubois was recently handed his first career loss at the hands of UK rival Joe Joyce in November of the 2020. Dubois has since bounced back from the defeat, knocking out Bogdan Dinu for the interim WBA heavyweight title and looks to do more of the same against Joe Cusumano.

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley will take place in Cleveleand at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena, August 29 and will air live on Showtime PPV.
