UFC Vegas 36 results: Brunson calls out Adesanya following submission win, Paddy Pimblett impresses on debut

UFC Vegas 36 took place tonight in the UFC’s Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. A middleweight clash between Darren Till and Derek Brunson headlined the card, which was dominated by an invasion of UK athletes including the highly anticipated debut of Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett.

The former Cage Warriors champion Paddy Pimblett lived up to long anticipated hype as he finished his opponent Luigi Vendramini in the first round via TKO. “The Baddy” was rocked early on but showed no signs of letting it affect him as he continued to steam roll forward eventually dropping Vendramini to the canvas after a flurry of strikes. It’s safe to say Paddy Pimblett has certainly left an impression amongst UFC fans following his performance.

Darren Till had a rough ride in the main event as he was submitted by Derek Brunson in the third round. Brunson dominated with his wrestling throughout the bout and despite being rocked in the third round, Brunson pinned Till against the cage before taking him down and securing the rear naked choke.

Jack Shore also extended his undefeated streak to 15-0 after a dominant performance over his opponent Liudvik Sholinian. Flyweight Molly McCann also got fans roaring after she put on a fight of the night contender with her decision victory over Ji Yeon Kim.
