Mariusz Pudzianowski brutally stops Bombardier at KSW 64
By
VM StaffMariusz Pudzianowski scored a first round knockout over Serigne Ousmane Dia (better known as Bombardier) last night at KSW 64: This Ain’t No Game. Bombardier, considered to be the greatest Senegalese Wrestler of all time and named “King of the Arena” twice, stepped into the cage for the third time to face the legendary Polish strongman.
It was mentioned at the weigh ins that this fight was one of the “biggest fights of the year.” Pudzianowski weighed in at 260lb and Bombardier hit the scales at 327lb.
This fight had been scheduled once before back in March, but fell through due to a last second cancellation (Bombardier had serious appendicitis). Pudzianowski stepped in to fight a late replacement, Nikola Milanovic instead and scored himself another TKO.
Bombardier won his first two MMA bouts via TKO but this fight indicates he may have a long way to go in the MMA world. Pudzianowski stepped back on the swinging Bombardier, found the right opening and dropped the Senegalese legend in just 18 seconds. There was only one clash between the two super heavyweights, and it was all she wrote as Mariusz bombed the Bombardier with a crushing right hand. Pudzianowski has a long list of accomplishments in his life, last night he made history again with one of the fastest finishes KSW has ever seen.
That makes it four finishes in a row for the 44 year old Pole. This has been Mariusz Pudzianowski best tear since 2015.
