Violent Money Announces VJJ 1, The UK’s First Team Elimination Event

UK MMA’s leading brand Violent Money is proud to announce its inaugural grappling event, VJJ 1, set to take place July 31st at VM Academy, Croydon. The event marks a historic moment for the grappling community within the UK as VJJ 1 will be the countries first team elimination event.

VJJ, Violent Jiu-Jitsu, is a submission grappling tournament which will feature a preliminary and main card. On the main card we will see two teams of four compete against each other on the main card with the losers of each contest being eliminated. The elimination process will continue until one team has no participants remaining in a modern take on the classic ‘”Last Man Standing” format.

On the preliminary card, a traditional round robin format will take place featuring various age, weight categories and skill levels as to provide a platform for all to test themselves in a high-octane setting. From beginners to intermediate VJJ aims to provide a platform that will inspire and nurture the next generation of grapplers within the UK and beyond.

We encourage anyone interested to register as soon as possible as places will fill. For competing on the card all adult winners will receive prize money and all kid winners will take home a Violent Money Gi and clothing bundle.
