Levels Fight League 6 | The biggest LFL event to date!

Emerging as one of Europe’s fastest rising MMA organisations, Levels Fight League 6 is set for October 2 and is on course to be the biggest fight card in the promotion’s young history.

The stacked card will feature a host of Dutch and international talent, rising prospects, crossover stars, former Glory champions, and title fights.

Local hero Melvin van Suijdam (12-5) will clash with UK star Liam Etebar (8-1) in the main event with the winner being crowned the first ever LFL welterweight champion. Etebar comes into this contest on an eight-fight win-streak and straight off the back of a 10 second KO win at LFL 5 while Dutch veteran van Suijdam is aiming for this win to be a defining moment in his eleven-year career.

Former Glory middleweight champion Jason Wilnis (2-1) returns to the promotion after his exciting fight in KSW and faces former LFL middleweight title contender Ahmed Sami (7-2) in the co-main event. Wilnis, who is famously known for his wins over Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira, & Simon Marcus, will need to be on top former against the Egyptian who gave Tom Breese a tough time in their title fight at LFL 5.

Murthel Groenhart (2-0), the former Glory welterweight champion, continues his rise through the ranks in his MMA career and faces Poland’s Max Siewruk (1-1). With wins over the likes of Troy Jones, Cédric Doumbé, & Harut Grigorian in kickboxing, Groenhart has looked impressive thus far in his MMA career with back-to-back wins in LFL including a flying knee finish in his last fight at LFL 4 back in March.

Also announced for the card, Leon Edwards teammate Aiden Lee (10-6) meets Brazilian veteran Paulo Bananada (28-21). Gino van Steenis (2-0), brother of Bellator’s Costello van Steenis, faces Poland’s Adrian Osmański(2-1), and former Glory fighter Massaro Glunder (0-1) clashes with Latvia’s Silvas Jansons (2-0).

LFL 6 goes down October 2 live from Transformatorhuis in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with tickets & online PPV available here from LFLMMA.com.

Stay tuned for the full fight card.
