Oktagon 38 | Alex Lohore books place in €1m tournament with win over Juracek
By
VM StaffJuracek vs Lohore sees a return to welterweight for Alex Lohore who has recently been training under the tutelage of Brad Pickett, despite both men having an issue with each other at one stage it seems the dust has settled between the pair with Brad Pickett now cornering Lohore. Juracek is undefeated in his last 6 bouts and with a win here could see himself ending up in the game-changers tournament which both fighters will be aiming for.
Round one was a fast-paced bout showing both men come through with powerful shots in a closely contested fight. Lohore was constantly pressuring but Juracek had bursts of explosive shots causing problems for Lohore. But it was a round-ending flurry from Lohore that could’ve potentially seen him win the round.
Round two saw more of the same in what left fans in constant cheer. Lohore was landing less but his shots were landing with a velocity that not many fighters possess. Both fighters posed major threats and it left it all down to the 3rd round where no man was giving up. the technical aspect of Juracek was looking strong but the power and speed from Lohore was great working behind his jab.
In the final round, Lohore landed a pinpoint right that saw his opponent go down with Lohore following up with concise ground and pound. In the post-fight interview, it was confirmed Lohore is in the GameChangers Tournament!
