UFC 285 – Live Results | Jones vs Gane
By
VM StaffThe UFC is touching down in the T-Mobile Arena for the first time this year. Tonight, the highly-anticipated UFC 285 is set to deliver on all cylinders.
At the top of the card, Jon Jones returns and looks to cement himself as the greatest mixed martial artist of all time, but first, he must get past the former interim champion Ciryl Gane, as the pair battle for the vacant UFC heavyweight title.
Fireworks are also expected in the co-main event, as the ever-dominant UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko seeks to extend her run to eight-straight title defenses, when she faces Mexican boxer Alexa Grasso.
Elsewhere on the card, Kazhakstan’s Shavkat Rakhmonov hopes to continue his rapid ascent up the 170lb rankings, when he takes on the hard-hitting contender Geoff Neal. Top-ten lightweights Mateusz Gamrot and Jalin Turner meet on the main card, with the winner climbing the ladder to title contention. NCAA wrestling standout Bo Nickal will also make his full UFC debut, taking on hard-nosed Jamie Pickett.
